Cities and cultural centres also lie here, born from a rich history and steeped in ancient traditions. The area is famed for its wealth of good food and excellent wines. Wine tastings and food tours abound. You can sample local specialities, from Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi to Tartufo di Acqualagna. And always the warmest of welcome awaits you on your return to Maison 022.

The nearest town to Maison 022 retains much of its medieval architecture. Designated as a model city by UNESCO, the “Milan of the Marches” is just the place for an evening of opera or a play in the magnificent Teatro Pergolesi. Why not try a glass of Verdicchio – the local vintage.

Called “the velvet beach” because of the very fine sand on its shore and its clear waters, Senigallia is a pearl of the Adriatic. But visitors have many other reasons to fall in love with it, such as the famous Rotonda a Mare or La Fenice theatre, and the Roman archaeological site beneath. Big events take place here in the summer. Among them are the famous Summer Jamboree of American culture of the ’40s and ’50s.
